Calories In Chicken Thigh

Depending on how you cook your chicken thighs, different cooking method can give you different value of calories. Any ingredients you use in your cooking will also increase the calorie content.

To put it simply, there are many factors that will influence the final calories value of a piece of chicken thigh. For example, fresh chicken thighs will produce slightly less calories than frozen ones and a skinless chicken thigh will have fewer calories than a chicken thigh with the skin on. It goes without saying that the size of the meat will also affect the amount of calories.

Generally, a chicken thigh including the skin is about 150 calories while a skinless one is about 110 calories. For fried chicken thigh with the skin on, the calorie content is increased to 250 calories. Baking will give you less calorie content because it doesn't involve the use of oil so the chicken meat will not be oily and thus will be healthier.
