Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs


The honey mustard chicken thighs dish is a heart warming dish and it is best eaten with cooked rice. Because this dish is so delicious and popular, there are several ways to make it. Below is one of the simpler yet delicious recipes for making it:




Ingredients:


  • 5 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dark mustard
  • 1 bell pepper, chunked
  • 1 onion, chunked
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 cups rice
  • corn oil
  • balsamic vinegar to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste



Instructions:


1. In a large skillet, add in the corn oil and vinegar and heat it over low heat.


2. Add in the bell peppers and onions and sauté them until tender.


3. Now, remove the vegetables together with the oil.


4. Add in the chicken thighs and garlic and cook them thoroughly. Be sure to turn the thighs often.


5. In another bowl, add in the honey and mustard. Combine and mix well.


6. In a pan, add in rice and place the chicken thighs and sautéed peppers and onions over it.


7. Pour the honey mustard mixture over everything and brown them in the oven.
